1. This is an excellent WELLNESS product that may be used by people with all BMIs and is nicknamed the "anti-aging molecule".
2. Each vial contains 2000mg of medication in 10ml (1000 units).
3. Note that this is TWICE the amount of medication in one vial compared to other pharmacies, hence the higher cost. This vial is designed for patients that want to use the higher dosing protocols for NAD+. The BUD is about 80-85 days from when you receive it.
4. It will be shipped to you from Spring Creek Pharmacy. Please allow 5-10 business days for shipping.
5. Your order will be sent with insulin syringes to inject it subcutaneously. Please note that this vial may be a different concentration than from other pharmacies, so please note the units needed for each dose.
6. Please order one vial at a time due to expiration dates.
7. This vial offers the most medication with the longest BUD, so it's very flexible for dosing.

DOSAGE:

50mg dose = 0.25ml (25 units)

100mg dose = 0.5ml (50 units)

200mg dose = 1ml (100 units)

Dosing is flexible for NAD+. People inject anywhere from 50mg to 200mg up to three times a week. To be consistent, your instructions will always be to inject 50 units (100mg) three times a week. However, you may inject up to 100units (200mg) three times a week if desired.

*If you inject 50 units (100mg) three times a week, you will have 20 doses of medication, which will last you about 6-7 weeks. You will be sent enough supplies for 20 injections.

*You may also choose to start at a lower dose of 50mg (25 units/0.25ml) 2-3 times a week and advance up to the doses above; however please note the BUD above. You will not be able to use all of the medication prior to the BUD if you only inject 25 units 2-3 times a week. I would suggest ordering the 1000mg vial from one of my other pharmacies. You would also need to order extra injection supplies from Amazon.

WHAT IS NAD+?

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide is a form of Vitamin B3 (niacin). This coenzyme is found in the mitochondria of all living cells. This coenzyme is heavily involved in DNA repair and cellular remodeling. It has been known to “ turn off” those genes that accelerate degenerative aging and is essential for maintaining neurotransmitter levels for the proper functioning of the brain. It is key in cellular metabolism. As we age, our NAD levels decrease making us less able to repair cellular damage. We begin to lose energy, appear older and have decreased brain function. NAD+ plays a significant role in anti-aging. With NAD+ IV therapy and the NAD+ IM Shot, the molecule works rapidly to repair cells throughout the body and neurons in the brain. It serves as a catalyst in ultimate brain restoration which assists in overcoming depression, anxiety, and common mood disorders. Restoring and supplementing NAD+ in the body may improve physical appearance, health, and quality of life.

CONTRAINDICATIONS/PRECAUTIONS:

There are really no reported contraindications or precautions for NAD+ injections. It has a relatively high safety profile, and is generally tolerated well in most patients.

Joint Commission guidelines for proper use of many multi-dose vials include the recommendation to discard the vial 4 weeks after first puncture, even though the Beyond Use Date (BUD) may be longer. These guidelines are generally followed in office and hospital settings, particularly when the vial is used for multiple different patients. However, this same suggestion is made for vials punctured several times a day or only once a week. With certain vial sizes/doses/packages, using all of the medication in the vial without wasting any could result in a patient using the vial for longer than 28 days after first puncture. If you choose to use your vial longer than 28 days after first puncture due to package size or maintenance dosing, you must acknowledge that you understand the Joint Commission recommendations to discard the vial 28 days after first puncture, even if you only puncture the vial once a week. You will be using the vial at your own discretion.
