HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR SERMORELIN VIAL:

Semorelin dosing with my service varies from 300mcg-750mcg nightly, with most patients preferring to inject only 5 nights out of 7 nights of the week. A popular option is to inject Monday-Friday nightly, then take an injection break on Saturday and Sunday nights. Everyone has a different wellness journey, so I am flexible with your dosing. I do recommend that patients wanting to use the 750mcg dose inject 5 days on, 2 days off (rather than nightly).

I will provide some guidelines here, but feel free to message for any recommendations. Your chart will always be reviewed as well before your order is placed.

AVAILABLE VIAL SIZES AND DOSES:

*If injecting 5 nights on/5 nights off (you need 20 doses for 4 weeks):

6g vial: You will have 4 weeks of the 300mcg dose.
9mg vial: You will have 4 weeks of the 450mcg dose or 6 weeks* of the 300mcg dose.
10mg vial: You will have 4 weeks of the 500mcg dose.
15mg vial: You will have 4 weeks of the 750mcg dose or 6 weeks* of the 500mcg dose (THIS VIAL SIZE).

*It is important to note that the CDC recommends multidose vials such as these to be discarded 4 weeks after mixing to reduce contamination. This is not due to the quality of the medication, but rather to reduce contamination risks. If you use the medication for longer than 4 weeks after mixing, please take extra care when cleaning your vial and your skin to decrease any contamination risks.

*If injecting every night with no breaks:

9mg vial: You will have 30 days of the 300mcg dose.
15mg vial: You will have 30 days of the 500mcg dose (THIS VIAL SIZE).

PHARMACY OPTIONS:

Different pharmacies offer differ vial sizes and your choice will depend on your state and your dosing. Some people prefer to start at the lowest dosing, then move up if needed. Others may want to start at the 450-500 mcg dosing and move up to the 750mcg dose if needed. The exact dosing you use may depend on which vial size is available in your state.

I do recommend that patients wanting to use the 750mcg dose inject 5 days on, 2 days off (rather than nightly).

This injection may be taken in conjunction with other weight loss medications or alone. It will be shipped from SOUTH LAKE PHARMACY. Please allow 5-7 business days for shipping. This medication does not need to be shipped cool since it ships in the lyophilized, or "powder" form. It will include all supplies needed for mixing and injecting. It will need to be kept cool in the refrigerator after mixing, however.

DOSING:

250mcg = 10 units (0.1ml)

500mcg = 20 units (0.2ml)

750mcg = 30 units (0.3ml)

Sermorelin dosing varies, but we recommend injecting 500mcg (20 units) SC nightly 5 out of 7 days of the week (M-F, then take Sat and Sun off, for example) with this vial. You would use 20 injections in a 4-week period and 30 injections in a 6-week period. You may start at 250mcg (10 units) the first week to assess your tolerance, then advance to 500mcg (20 units) for weeks 2-4. After the first 4 weeks, you may remain at the 500mcg dose or move up to the 750mcg (30 units) dose if desired. Each vial has 30 injections of the 500mcg dose, and 20 injections of the 750mcg dose.
Please only order a 15mg vial if you plan to use the 500mcg or 750mcg dose for the majority of the doses from each vial. I do offer 6mg and 9mg vials from other pharmacies for the lower doses.
Pharmacies require specific directions to be written with your prescription, so your instructions will ALWAYS instruct you to inject 500mcg (20 units). However, you may adjust your dose up or down using the chart above.
You will need to mix your vial and reconstitute it with 6ml of bacteriostatic water when you receive it. A mixing kit with supplies and instructions will be sent with your order. After you have mixed the vial, it will need to be kept cool in the refrigerator. The pharmacy should send you directions on how to reconstitute your peptide. You may also refer to the instructions at the bottom of the page if needed. Your medication is best kept in powder form until you are ready to use it. You may store the powder in the refrigerator for best use, but room temperature storage of unmixed vials is appropriate.
It's important to note that the CDC recommends multidose vials such as these to be discarded 28 days after mixing to reduce contamination. This is not due to the quality of the medication, but rather to reduce contamination risks.

There are 20 doses (4 week supply) of the 750mcg dose in this vial. This vial also has 30 doses of the 500mcg dose (six-week supply). If you choose to use the vial beyond the 28 days, please do so with caution. As always, you can help reduce the risk of contamination by carefully cleaning the vial before each puncture.

This 15mg vial from Revive RX is the most cost-effective option across all my pharmacies. If you'd like a smaller vial with 6mg or 9mg, please see the options from other pharmacies for these vials. However, the price is higher for these vials in some cases (with less medication).
You may order 1, 2, or 3 vials at a time. See above about using medications 28 days after mixing. You will be sent 1 mixing kit, 30 syringes, and 30 alcohol swabs with each vial you order.

*The best time to take sermorelin is prior to bedtime at least 2 hours after your last meal. HGH is primarily released while you sleep and is most beneficial to the body's recovery and repair during this time. Because sermorelin aids with sleep, it can sometimes make you tired if taken during the day. If you must take it during the day, make sure you have not eaten 2 hours beforehand.

On the other hand, some patients feel that doing their injections during the day on an empty stomach before working out gives him the best results in terms of muscle building and fat burning. The best thing for you to do is to experiment with it and find out what works best for you. However, just make sure that you are well-hydrated and have not eaten in the 2 hours before your injection.

WHAT IS SERMORELIN?

Sermorelin is a peptide that stimulates the release of human growth hormone releasing hormone (GHRH) from the hypthothalamus, which promotes the natural production and release of growth hormone (HGH) from the pituitary gland.

HGH is normally produced during our youth and helps build muscle, build bone, breakdown fat, and keep our skin young and healthy. As we get older, GH levels decline to the point that most people over age 50 have levels way below optimum. Directly administering GH can be tricky in that too much can be administered and does not induce the natural physiologic "pulse".

Sermorelin stimulates your own natural production of HGH, which works with our body's natural feedback mechanisms to prevent you from getting too much HGH. It's a cheaper and safer way to naturally restore your HGH levels.

HOW LONG DOES SERMORELIN TAKE TO WORK?

While patients will notice some significant increases in changes in the body after the first month, the full benefits are usually fully noticed after 3-6 months of therapy. Once injected, Sermorelin is eliminated from the body very quickly and therefore needs to be injected frequently. Its actions are dependent on a chain reaction of biological processes which result in elevated and sustained HGH and growth factors. It takes some time for levels to become optimal and initiate the benefits we are seeking to achieve. This timeline is common for many patients:

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SERMORELIN THERAPY AND HGH THERAPY?

HGH Therapy involves the direct injection of HGH into the body and this increases HGH levels by adding HGH to the internal HGH that your body creates on its own. Sermorelin on the other hand increases HGH through stimulating your body to produce more HGH on it’s own. Both therapies achieve the same goal, which is the increase in HGH levels, but through different mechanisms.

Another major difference between Sermorelin therapy and HGH therapy is the price. Sermorelin acetate has been around for a long time, has been the subject of a great deal of research, and costs FAR less than many other GHRH analogues. HGH therapy will cost $1500-2000 per month.

Joint Commission guidelines for proper use of many multi-dose vials include the recommendation to discard the vial 4 weeks after first puncture, even though the Beyond Use Date (BUD) may be longer. These guidelines are generally followed in office and hospital settings, particularly when the vial is used for multiple different patients. However, this same suggestion is made for vials punctured several times a day or only once a week. With certain vial sizes/doses/packages, using all of the medication in the vial without wasting any could result in a patient using the vial for longer than 28 days after first puncture. If you choose to use your vial longer than 28 days after first puncture due to package size or maintenance dosing, you must acknowledge that you understand the Joint Commission recommendations to discard the vial 28 days after first puncture, even if you only puncture the vial once a week. You will be using the vial at your own discretion.

If you have any concerns about this issue and for best safety practices, please choose a 4-week package and discard any medication leftover 28 days after first puncture.
