INJECTION FACTS:
Methionine Choline Injections, also referred to as Lipotropic Injections, or Lipo Injections, are used to help release fat throughout the body by specifically targeting its primary fatty deposits. Lipotropic, or fat burning substances include: choline, which distributes cholesterol and prevents it from getting deposited in one part of the body, and methionine which amplifies it. Injections can be administered up to twice a week. Since lipotropics directly aid in the breakdown of fatty tissue, and are also closely related to B vitamins, when used together, they are thought to intensify each others' effects and are usually injected together as part of the same treatment injection cycle.
The amino acids that are injected into the body stimulate the liver into optimizing the process of metabolism. These injections boost the body’s metabolic power by providing a highly effective temporary increase of normal metabolic functions. As soon as the effect of these substances wears off, the body begins to gradually return to its normal metabolic rate. When administered in combination with a low-calorie diet and regular exercise, our lipotropic formulas can help your body to rid itself of fat, while simultaneously increasing your energy levels both via the fat-released energy and the energy-promoting properties of vitamin B12. The formula used in the Lipo Injection specially blends the following important ingredients:
Methionine is an essential amino acid, which means that it is not synthesized in humans. This amino acid acts as a lipotropic agent which: assists in the breakdown of fats within the liver; helps to lower cholesterol thereby preventing excess fat buildup in the liver and throughout your body’s circulatory system; is helpful in preventing and relieving fatigue; and is useful in some cases of allergies by virtue of its ability to reduce histamine release.
One of the sulfur-containing amino acids (along with cysteine and cystine), methionine is important (essential) to many bodily functions and must be directly consumed through supplementation or methionine-containing proteins. Foods which contain high levels of methionine include cheese, eggs, fish, meats, spinach, potatoes, Brazil nuts, sesame seeds, and select other plant seeds. However, by injecting methionine into your muscles you can rapidly achieve high concentrations which many researchers and physicians believe results in more effective mobilization and elimination of abnormal fatty deposits. Other reported benefits of methionine include improvement of liver disease; skin tone and elasticity; nails; hair; and cardiovascular and muscular functions, through its role in the production of creatine. It has also been used to treat premature ejaculation, chronic depression, pancreatitis, Parkinson’s disease, and AIDS myelopathy. More specifically, clinical research has clearly demonstrated methionine’s ability to “…strongly improve the alcohol-induced histological changes in the liver. Triglyceride content of the liver was found to decrease in a dose-dependent manner with increasing methionine ingestion.
Inositol
Inositol is a form of sugar found in your body, in some foods and as a supplement. Your body needs inositol for the development and growth of cells. But research suggests that inositol may have many potential health benefits. People use it for metabolic syndrome and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), among other health conditions.
Inositol is frequently called vitamin B8, but it’s not really a vitamin. However, research has shown it may provide many important functions. In addition to playing a role in the development of your cell membranes, inositol may also have an effect on insulin and certain chemical messengers in your brain. This may influence your body’s ability to manage metabolic and mental health conditions.
Metabolic syndrome is a group of risk factors that increase your chances for chronic disease, including diabetes, heart disease and stroke. These risk factors include:
By taking an inositol supplement, you may be able to better manage these metabolic risk factors. Some research suggests that you may see an improvement in your blood pressure, as well as your triglyceride, cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
Some studies also show that inositol may also improve symptoms of PCOS. This includes improved blood sugar, reduced blood pressure, and lower triglyceride levels. It may also promote ovulation and increased pregnancy rates.
Choline
Choline is an essential nutrient that helps to support the liver in its processing and excretion of chemical waste products. Moreover, it is required for the transport and metabolism of fats and cholesterol, which is important for the healthy support of the endocrine, cardiovascular, and hepatic systems.
Choline has also been shown to specifically aid with memory, and to support the maintenance of a healthy nervous system. Food sources of choline include peanuts, soybeans, wheat, chicken, fish, beef, cauliflower, eggs, and lettuce.
B Vitamins
Vitamins in the B family are essential for a wide variety of functions in the human body, Its deficiency can also lead to several disorders including chronic neurological ones. Biochemically, different structures are grouped together under B complex on the basis of their natural occurrence in same type of food and solubility in water. Since humans are not able to synthesize vitamins in B complex on their own and these vitamins are easily excreted from the body through urine, their regular intake is essential to maintain energy production, DNA/RNA synthesis/repair, genomic and non-genomic methylation as well as synthesis of numerous neurochemicals and signaling molecules.
B vitamins are necessary for the proper functioning of the methylation cycle, DNA synthesis, repair and maintenance of phospholipids and generally essential for healthy skin, muscles, brain, and nerve functionality. The individual functions are described below but more often than not they work together to achieve the required effect.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamine)
It plays an important role in energy metabolism, immunity boosting and functioning of nervous system. It can help avoid type 2 diabetes, several cardiovascular diseases, some vision and kidney disorders and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s disease.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin)
It is a powerful antioxidant and plays a vital role in maintaining healthy blood cells and boosts metabolism.
Niacinamide
Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B3. It is required for the proper function of fats and sugars in the body and to maintain healthy cells. It is used as a popular ingredient in many acne and anti-aging face creams. Niacinamide helps support the healthy appearance and function of the skin. It can also support brain health, especially during the aging process. It can provide additional support for people with a variety of health conditions, including joint discomfort, headaches, and digestive health.
Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid)
Pantothenic acid is essential for healthy development of the central nervous system. It is involved in energy production and through different metabolic and anabolic cycles in development of amino acids, blood cells, vitamin D3 and other fatty acids.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine)
Vitamin B6 has a very influential role in synthesis of neurotransmitters and is essential for good mental health. It also has a direct effect on immune function. It plays a role in metabolism of amino acids and is a necessary co-factor in the folate cycle, lack of which can lead to anemia.
Epidemiological evidence in some cases hints that the accepted dosages of vitamin B helps only to avoid their marginal deficiency and further benefits could accrue from higher dosages than those provided by absorption from the gastrointestinal tract or impaired storage and use by liver.
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin)
Known as the "energy vitamin", vitamin B12 can increase your energy level and help prevent fatigue. Vitamin B12 increases energy, aids in fat and carbohydrate metabolism, and has been shown to suppress your appetite. It also stimulates the utilization of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in the body.
One of the ways vitamin B12 works in your body is by reducing energy. This energy allows you to be active and not feel fatigued. Energy is very important when it comes to losing weight. Vitamin B12 injections help with this process by increasing your energy, which ramps up your metabolism. A faster metabolism burns more calories This vitamin is also used to help your body get rid of fat more efficiently. It plays an important role in the metabolism of fat through your liver. Some research shows that low levels of vitamin B12 in the body actually contributes to weight gain and obesity. Sufficient levels of the vitamin in your body have been linked to a decreased risk of obesity.
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a nutrient your body needs to form blood vessels, cartilage, muscle and collagen in bones. Vitamin C is also vital to your body's healing process. Your body can not make vitamin C, so it must come from your diet or supplements.
Research shows vitamin C is essential for the growth and repair of tissue all over the body. Vitamin C helps heal wounds and repair and maintain healthy bones, teeth, skin and cartilage — a type of firm tissue that covers the bones. As an antioxidant, vitamin C fights free radicals in the body which may help prevent or delay certain cancers and heart disease and promote healthy aging. Vitamin C from foods also seems to reduce the risk of cartilage loss in those with osteoarthritis.
Due to its function as an antioxidant and its role in immune function, vitamin C has been promoted as a means to help prevent and/or treat numerous health conditions, such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and treating and preventing viral illnesses like the common cold.
