1. This product is manufactured by MEDIVANT HEALTHCARE, a 503B pharmacy. Products from 503B compounding pharmacies are considered "superior" products since 503B pharmacies are held to higher testing and potency standards than 503A compounding pharmacies (since 503Bs are able to compound in large quantities for hospitals and health clinics).
2. However, as a 503B pharmacy, Medivant can not ship directly to patients. Therefore, The Pharmacy Hub (TPH), will be assisting me with fulfilling and shipping your orders.
3. Your item will generally ship within 1-2 business days of your order being placed with them, often the same business day! In order to work so quickly, the pharmacy will print your shipping labels and begin to process and package your item for shipping as soon as your order is submitted (even on weekends). Therefore, please double check that you have ordered the correct dose and that your shipping address is entered correctly. There will be no cancellations or address changes once your rx has been submitted to the pharmacy.
4. This is a "clean" version of TZ with no additional ingredients. It is available for all of my patients.
5. To further ensure sterility, your 4 needles will be packaged unattached to your 4 syringes. Written injection instructions for preparing your syringe for injection and attaching your needle will be printed on the back of each box.
6. The included needles will be be tiny, 33G X 3/16". These syringes are actually a little smaller than those attached to the insulin syringes provided with your vials from other pharmacies. Although more comfortable for injection, these tiny syringes would not be able to puncture the rubber stopper in those vials without bending. Your Medivant syringes are pre-loaded with your medication, so no need to puncture any stoppers with the needle!
7. There is also a QR code on the back of each Medivant box that will take you to a video featuring instructions to ready your syringe for proper injection. You can also view the video by clickingHERE.
8. It will arrive to you cool and will need to be kept in the refrigerator.
9. Each order contains 4 weeks of either the 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg, or 15mg dose of TZ in 4 individual syringes for ease of administration.
   
10. The units you inject will now vary depending on your dose (anywhere from 10-30 units/0.1-0.3ml). However, you will not need to measure any doses or read any charts to figure out your dosing. Each dose is already pre-filled for you! You simply attach the needle and inject!
11. You MUST order the dosage you intend to take, as each syringe is pre-filled and designed for ONE DOSE ONLY.
12. ALLOWED QUANTITIES:
    
    *Patients in the weight-loss phase: You may order up to 3 boxes (12 injections) at a time and inject weekly.
    
    **Patients in maintenance: If you are injecting weekly, you may order up to 4 boxes (16 injections). If you are not injecting weekly, you may order up to 3 boxes (12 injections).
    
    
13. MULTIBOX DISCOUNTS (OF THE SAME DOSE):
    
    *Discounts on the 2.5mg, 5mg, and 7.5mg dose if ordering more than one box (of the same dose)--Save $15 on 2 boxes, $30 on 3 boxes, and $45 off 4 boxes!
    
    *Discounts on the 10mg, 12.5mg, and 15mg dose if ordering more than one box (of the same dose)--Save $25 on 2 boxes, $50 on 3 boxes, and $75 off 4 boxes!
14. Patients MUST check in and report your BMI at least every 12 weeks (three months), even if your medication may last longer. You may do this via your Push Health account.
15. The BUD on these are 6 months, which makes them an excellent option for maintenance.

DOSING: Each box contains 4 pre-filled syringes of the same dose, You simply attach the needle according to the directions and inject weekly.

New patients not previously on an injectable weight loss medication will start at the 2.5mg for the first 4 weeks. You may then move up to the 5mg dose for the next 4 weeks, then 7.5mg for 4 weeks, etc. However, you do NOT have to move up in dosing until you are ready. If you are having successful weight loss on a certain dose, you do not have to move up. Also, if you are having significant side effects on a dose, you should spend another 4 weeks on your current dose before you move up.
