DUE TO A NATIONAL SHORTAGE OF l-CARNITINE, SPRING CREEK WILL TEMPORARILY BE COMPOUNDING THEIR TZ WITH B12 (CYANOCOBALAMIN). THE DOSING AND PACKAGES WILL REMAIN THE SAME AS THE L-CARNITINE VERSION.

1. This medication will be shipped to you from Spring Creek Pharmacy.
2. Injection supplies are included.
3. The current shipping time is around 7-10 days, but your order often ships much sooner.
4. It will arrive to you cool and will need to be kept in the refrigerator.
5. You MUST order the dosage you intend to take.
6. Please order only one vial at a time due to BUDs.
7. The concentration will remain the same no matter the dose. However, the number of units you inject will change depending on your weekly dose.
8. Package options:
   1. 2.5mg X 4 weeks PLUS 5mg X 2 weeks
   2. 5mg X 4 weeks
   3. 7.5mg X 5 weeks
   4. 10mg X 4 weeks
   5. 12.5mg X 6 weeks
   6. 15mg X 4 weeks
   7. 15mg X 5 weeks

DOSING:

TZ/B12 (cyanocobalamin) 20mg/1mg/ml

2.5mg: 12.5 units (0.125ml)

5mg: 25 units (0.25ml)

7.5mg: 37.5 units (0.375ml)

10mg: 50 units (0.8ml)

12.5mg: 62.5 units (0.625ml)

15mg: 75 units (0.75ml)

New patients not previously on an injectable weight loss medication will start at the 2.5mg for the first 4 weeks. You may then move up to the 5mg dose for the next 4 weeks, then 7.5mg for 4 weeks, etc. However, you do NOT have to move up in dosing until you are ready. If you are having successful weight loss on a certain dose, you do not have to move up. Also, if you are having significant side effects on a dose, you should spend another 4 weeks on your current dose before you move up.
